By creating an account, signing in, or using My Career Dock ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, both of which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice and for any reason, including for violation of these Terms.

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; infringe the rights of others; upload malicious code or content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, its servers, or other users' accounts; scrape, crawl, or systematically collect Platform data; interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its connected networks; or use the Platform to impersonate any person or entity. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this clause.

You retain ownership of the content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and use your User Content solely to provide, operate, and improve the Platform. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the rights to it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may remove or decline to display any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms.

Certain Platform features generate suggestions, feedback, scores, or other content using automated artificial-intelligence systems. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranty of any kind. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on any AI-generated content. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or career advice.

The Platform provides tools, resources, and guidance to assist your job search. We do not and cannot guarantee that you will secure an interview, a job offer, employment, a particular salary, or any career outcome. Any outcome depends on factors outside our control, including third-party hiring decisions.

Job listings and links shown on the Platform are provided by third parties for convenience. We do not control, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any listing, and we are not responsible for any interactions, applications, or decisions resulting from them. You apply to any listing at your own risk.

Expert consultants are independent freelancers who register on the Platform and are not our employees, partners, or agents. We facilitate connections between users and consultants but do not control, supervise, or guarantee the quality of their advice or services. Each consultation is a separate paid session; the consultant sets their price within the range specified by the Platform. We are not liable for any advice, conduct, or outcome arising from consultant sessions. Bookings may also be subject to the consultant's own terms. All expert consultations are at your own risk.

Fees for paid plans are displayed on the Platform and are payable in advance. Paid plans are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. Expert consultation sessions are paid separately from subscription plans; session fees are non-refundable once the session has occurred. The Platform processes all payments and disburses funds to consultants minus a service fee. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as we may, in our sole discretion, choose to provide a refund or credit. We may change fees or plan features at any time; changes take effect for future purchases. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and you agree to their terms.

If we offer a referral program, rewards are granted at our sole discretion and may be changed, suspended, or revoked at any time without notice. Referral rewards are void where prohibited by law. We may decline or claw back rewards obtained through abuse, including self-referral or fraudulent accounts.

The Platform, including its software, design, templates, text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and AI features, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform except as expressly permitted.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your access ceases and your User Content may be permanently deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to sections 4 through 21 — shall survive.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (₹100). CERTAIN JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IF SUCH LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your User Content, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent, but we may assign them freely. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
